DEATHSKIN RAZORS- "Who Can Belong" CD

Rather than the faux-arty metallic crust suggested by the cover art, Detroit's DEATHSKIN RAZORS deliver crushing hardcore on the eleven-track Who Can Belong. Needless to say, this was a pleasant surprise for your CD-wary reviewer. I'm not really up on the latest bands from this end of the HC spectrum so i can't offer any contemporary comparisons, but DEATHSKIN RAZORS play a modern-sounding style that draws elements of the CRO-MAGS, INTEGRITY and even INFEST at times. In other words, heavy and brutal- but without a tough-guy macho element.
